Sorry if I'm in the wrong forum but I couldn't find a specific one for servicing.
My problem: I am very confused as to what service I need. As you see from the age of the car, it is not worth me spending 15% of it's value on a service so I'm doing it myself.
I went to the ESS guide where the problem starts. Instead of it telling me which service I need, it asks me to select service A or B. In the car's service history, it has the following service dates and type of service:
10/01/01 - 20,518km - A
06/11/02 - 42,559km - B + 2 year
07/06/04 - 62,631km - A
13/07/06 - 81,755km - A + 80k/4 years + 120k/4 years + 2 year
26/06/08 - 103,196km - B + 2 year
I bought the car at 122,000km, when the service counter must have been reset although there is no service record for that reading. Between then and now, reading approx. 170,000 I had a service notice, when I changed oil, oil filter, air filter and dust filter.
Actually, now that I've put it this way, I think I have an answer to my own question although confirmation would be appreciated.
I need to change oil and oil filter, it's been more than 80k since replacement of fuel filter - so I need that. It's been more than two years since replacing of brake fluid so I need that.
If you've managed to read through this have suggestions - thanks in advance.
