Hi. need to replace the heater valve under the plastic wiper trim.
l have removed the wiper arms and un-clipped the back of the wiper trim but still unable to removed.
Does the wiper trim clip into the bottom leading edge of the windscreen glass?
What is the best way of removing it from the glass?
thanks

This is the nerve racking bit when doing it the first time. You need a plastic wedge to lift the trim out at one end. Try the other end as well, once it starts to come out its easy. It does just un clip from the bottom of the screen.

I spent ages try to get it out, I suspect that there is a moss or build up in the groove where it sits, making it it harder.

I did manage to chip my screen by using a metal object :(

Thanks Malcolm,
l worked it out, it just clips into a channel not around the windscreen edge.
When l removed the trim l found a male elect plug coming from the windscreen.
Was not able to locate the female end of the plug.
Do you know what it is used for?
thanks

If the plug is drivers side, then for wiper antifreeze, usually only found when the screen has been replaced at some point in time. My original did not have one, but the replacement screen did (not wired up)
