Hi all,
Can anybody advise me of where I am able to get a sat nav cd for an E280 Sports, 2006 plate? The new ones or Merc aproved ones cost around £200!
While on the subject of satnav I've posted a query that has been moved to the tech section. Anyone here know the answer?
Can anyone enlighten me, please? What is the benefit of the media interface (on the B class and many other models) compared with just the normal set-up which I think has AUX In in the glovebox.
Friend wants to run i-pod etc and wants to know if worth the £350 extra for the media interface.
Second, anyone describe the difference between the arrow type sat nav at £1150 odd compared with COMAND at £2100? The cheaper one says: -
Audio 50
Includes radio, DVD arrow navigation system with TMC
(Traffic Message Channel) and Linguatronic voice control; integrated
CD/DVD changer (6-disc) with MP3 compatibility
This includes media interface (which on its own costs £350 and comes with Audi 20 as standard).
npuk - I have the comand system? I'm not sure if it is a dvd based system or a cd based? The actual sat nav unit is in the boot and front end i have a dvd player. I have check out comanonline but again they charge in the region of £170, i was hoping somebody would be able to suggest something a bit cheaper?
I have just received my latest owners club magazine and there is a small article on the second or third page stating that Mercedes are going to provide free replacements for the next three years! Don't do anything drastic like buying one before you check with your dealer.
