Ok, the old girl runs, new tank strainer and fuel filter...but it has a very lumpy tickover, and is running, very, very rich.....any idea's??
This is an update...I think I have sorted it...the fuel tank strainer was blocked, and the fuel tank had a gritty, muddy, silty mess in the bottom...I jetwashed the tank out, and left it to dry out, I fitted a fuel strainer in the tank, and a new fuel filter....what I forgot to do, was clean out the fuel line...so on starting, all the muck, gunge and sh1t got pushed through the system...this in turn, naffed up a plug...i pumped fresh fuel through and fitted new plugs..that smoothed it out, I then leaned off the mixture untill tickover was smooth...when I take it for MOT, I will get the chap to do the emmisions then.
