"3 Plus" servicing

Picked up my fancy new pedal covers at the dealers today (22.81 all in) and noticed a large board promoting big discounts for servicing on cars over 3 years old - eg C Class - A service 187.56 (standard price 245.49) B service 327.74 (normally 426.56)
Looks like a decent initiative to me and since I'm due a B service later this year, just after the car's 3 birthday, it make a strong argument for the full MB history, mobilo etc

don't know - but will ask, however it's part of a major national group (Stratstone) so I'd be suprised if it wasn't available in all their outlets at least

Inchcape (own dealers all over the place) mailed me an offer with prices almost as low as that, and their offer wasn't age dependent.
It was time limited though, until 31st July. My car isn't due for service until about October, but I spoke to dealer mainly to discuss ServicePlus, and they said they would honour the discounted prices anytime on request.

MB Harrogate is offering 20% off all servicing at the moment. I guess they're all feeling the impact of the indies. I don't think this is an officially sanctioned thing, just healthy competition between dealers. All good stuff though.
