Hi

I posted previously re a replacement engine for my 1986 300SE , here is an update.
My local garage (who can't do the work) has compression tested the engine and found that i need "cylinder head overhaul; possible valve guide replacement, stem oil seals and valve re grind"
i live in South London/North Surrey and would be grateful for any business recommendations

Wish you all the best in this job .Dont go for any other gaskets other than original mercedes ones. You need to talk to a reputable garage and see who they use to do this work for them .., i would ..
