AAAARGH!! the sunroof on my '92 300TE24 just refused to play (apart from an occasional twitch).
Fuse is OK, mechanism seems OK (I can wind it from the back no-probs and without undue force being required), motor seems OK (it puts itself away having been manually wound open when the doors are opened and closed).
Local dealer reckons the "Convenience Relay" is shot but wants £125 + vat + fitting to replace!
There's no mention of a convenience relay in my Haynes manual (so no clue where it is or how it is wired in).
Anybody know where this thing is? Is it accessible / easy to replace? Is it likely to be the cause of my problem? and where can I get one for less than £125+vat.
