Had my E class coupe 350cdi 265bhp for 5 years this month. Have to say what a fantastic motor! Ok it's had it's niggles including the dreaded Oil Cooler leak, but nothing to sour the ownership. Keep looking at changing it, but what do I get, that looks so stunning, drives great, it very fast and relatively good on fuel, without shelling out about 20 grand, so gonna keep it, at least for the time being. :)

Good to hear. I kept my E55 for 6+ years and my E63 for 3 years.
Was a shame to let either of them go but I had my reasons.
If the car is still serving you well and you like it, why change. It will only cost you more £££'s
Better the devil you know.

Don’t blame you keeping it a good looking well made car and the 350cdi engine is a gem the only real weak point being the oil cooler seals, just had mine done at 78k miles. I’m looking at changing the estate but not in any rush especially to part with the amount of cash required in these times of inflated prices.

An old B-Class.
We’ve now had our B-Class for 8 years and it is 9 years old but, with low mileage. We we just talking about it on Sunday and decided that as it has been absolutely trouble free since we got it, no point in changing it.

Great cars the C207. Had mine for 3 years and loved every minute of it (especially afte GAD had worked their magic on it). If it still fits your lifestyle and its running well, I'd be tempted to stick with it. Surely there's a few mods left to do :)

Had my 12 year old E350CDI 11 years still very pleased with it.
Only 2 faults a turbo boost sensor gasket, & a power steering pipe leaking. Still on the original battery.

It is nice to hear from someone that actually likes their car, so many threads on here are moaning.

For what its worth, I am very pleased with mine too, after 1 year of ownership.

Had my C207 e350 cdi for 20 months now.
Love it to bits. Still got itchy feet at the moment and thinking of changing it.
Only done 74k miles and full Merc history up to my purchase. Hell of a car to be fair.
I just get bored easy, never really kept any car for a long time.

I Fancied a CLK, bought an SL350
Invested £9K in June 2018, SL350 2007, so 5 years in June already..., will need 5 candles and chocolate cake.....celebrating 20k mostly leisure miles, needs more TLC this year but not selling...:D thankfully I think the prices have plateaued, maybe appreciating gently...

E500 Sport Coupe
In my 12th year of owning my E500,it'll be 13yo in December & has 84k on the clock.
I still look forward to driving it,but mainly use the wife's Nissan Note for short trips.
I knew I shouldn't have posted that....driving to the RAF museum at Hendon today the engine management light came on.
Two good points,it was the amber light so hopefully not too serious & secondly they didn't try to keep me in as an exhibit:).
Booked into Wayne Gates next week.
