A/c can't get the gas completely full in the system

Hi.
I have been to several garages now to regas my w204 c class 2011 . Something appears to not be right. My friend has also tried to fill it but it won't quite fill up he says and he gets an error message on the machine.
Has anyone else had this or offer an opinion?
The light flashes in the car when then button is pressed .

Is the error message that it won’t hold a vacuum? If so you’ll have a leak in the system somewhere - condensers are a favourite. Find an AC specialist to do a proper test.

Yep, leak test will soon find it, condensers usually fail due to stone damage as they sit with the engine coolant radiator, ironically my daughters’s BMW has just suffered that fate car was picked up today after new condenser dryer was fitted

Had my condensor done 2 years ago on my ML cost me £500 . I have to recharge my aircon every year and cannot find any leaks .

Find someone who knows automotive air con and how to diagnose it properly. It’s possible to charge via the high side if you know what you are doing, but I think something else is wrong if it won’t take full charge on the normal fill low side port.
