A207 DRL

Hi I’m looking for some advice. My near side DRL has taken a few stone hits recently and is damaged. I can’t find any videos on the A207 on how to change this. Some models it’s 4 screws and the grill comes out. Some other models the bumper has to come off. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this before and could point me in the right direction. Also if anyone knows of good place to get an OEM DRL that would be great. Ive seen some online but they’re not exact matches for my parts number. If not I’ll be ringing Mercedes later.

Problem with non original is more than likely the light will be a diferent shade. Best bet to ensure its correct is the dealer all the way.

Have you got under to the car to see if it can be replaced without taking the bumper off. Surely it must be possible.

This is my thinking. I’d much prefer to go down the original route. I’ve seen a video of a European model being changed and they had to take the undertray off and wheel lining to get at it. For such a small light surely there’s an easier way!

Nope unfortunately it’s trays off and liner removed to get at them, it’s an easy enough job on a lift but not that nice if you’re on your back under the car

You might be able to do it with just the wheel lining out the way, but personally when I had to fix mine it was easier to drop the tray
