Alarm siren location on W164

Can anyone tell me where the alarm siren is on my 2008 W164 ML.

According to WIS it is under the bonnet on the drivers side near the bulkhead but I’m f###ed if I can find it.

I was told it's under the wheelarch plastic shield, of the front driver's side, closest to the bulkhead.
Not checked, but it's only 4 or 5 screws to find out.

That would be why I can’t find it under the bonnet then. I will have a look at the weekend. Many thanks.
