W124 300CE 1991 M103

I have no illumination behind instrument cluster (Speedo, Rev Counter etc), and all lights behind switches on center console including Heater controls, Dash switches, Gear selector and window controls.

Also, the buzzer that reminds you that you left the headlights on has also failed. All exterior lights are fine. Have changed the Fuse (3) and has not made a difference, plus all exterior lights on that circuit seem to be fine (Right hand side light and tail light)

Any ideas??..

Many thanks

First its possible that the dimmer ( the knob you turn to adjust the lighting level) has come unsoldered from one end. Also there is a little red fuse on the rear of the cluster though I think this only drives the other lamps and not the cluster ones.

Thank you for the help.. Turned out to be a dodgy connection on the back of the Cluster...

Nice.
