Aluminium arm and bush

Had an A service done yesterday and on collection was advised they also had to change the near side track rod end as it was so bad, also advised the the near side aluminium arm and bush would need to be done soon so I booked it in.
Just wondering what is the aluminium arm and bush? is it what the track rod end connects to?

The track rod end attaches the steering rack to the front hub. The arm and bush are likely one of the suspension arms.
