Hi All - On my CLK200 there is an AMG Special Edition badge. The car does not display any other AMG signage. I had contacted some office a while back who informed me that there is no record on any special mods to the car. It looks like it was attached at time of manufacture rather than a previous owner attaching it themselves. Any ideas? Im sure a photo would help but just thought I would ask first!:p

A previous owner has stuck it on. It's your choice as to whether to keep it or remove it.

A non AMG car never leaves the factory with any form of AMG badge

Note: I did not edit Malc's post...except briefly by mistake and this was corrected. Oops...sorry.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Yes, I am keeping a copy of every post that I do from now on, 2 of the mods that I know went from bad to worse once a mod

No need to keep a copy Malcolm. We cant edit posts without it showing that we have done so. And if we do, the changes are stored so a mod or admin can confirm the original version

I have about 2 mins to edit my post before it comes up as edited, now if a mod opened the post within that 2 mins, would it shown then

I think even if I was to edit your post 2 seconds after you made it, it "should" still show that I have edited it
