Been watching F1 since about 2004. Tifosi through and through. I never much paid attention to last season but have been tentatively watching this one so far. Enjoyed the start and end of the Russian GP but the middle was ditchwater.
Looking forward to a bit of competition this year and hoping a few of the other teams improve a bit. One team/driver endless wins gets a little dull regardless to the team.
I am a team supporter and never a driver.

Looks like Whiskers is already doing a better publicity job than Bernie did - even relaying driver conversations over the tannoy. More driver interviews too. And pump-up days before each event.

I might even watch Monaco! And Alonso at The Oval (not exactly cricket).

Well Mercedes started well in FP1 topping the timesheets, only to go the 'wrong way' with their set up and be way off the pace in FP2.

Nice to see Jenson back in an F1 car, with a lovely overtake on Lewis even though it was only practice!

Monaco Grand Prix will be a procession and totally based on pit stop strategy. The cars are so large there is no room for overtaking on street circuits. Well apart from Vestappen.

I can't wait for them to get to turn 9 at Baku. That's going to be interesting.

Monaco will be down to pitstop and tyre wear. Shame Malodonado isn't still driving.

Apparently Maldonado was offered a drive for 2017, it may well have been Manor though before they folded.

He was also one of the 26 drivers who put their name forward for Rosberg's seat
