My dad has just bought a 2002 (52) ML270CDI and he's chuffed to bits with it.

Except the Audio 10 CD player that is. ;)

When you choose "CD", the display reads "No CD" and you cannot put a cD in the slot. Anyone here experience this problem and managed to fix it?

If not, my gut feeling is that it would be cheapest to replace the unit. Can any standard player be fitted or would I need to get a replacement MB unit?

Thanks

This problem happened to me a while ago when i had the A Class. There is CD stuck in the drive. I knackered the unit getting mine out, so another Audio 10 is what i had to get. good luck

You can try a cd lens cleaner.

You dont have to get a MB branded unit. Plenty of aftermarket options which are better than the Audio 10.

I can't even get the CD in. It feels like one is stuck in there.

I was hoping that would be the case. You can get some very tasty players for £100.
