722.3/4/5)
the specs state.

My 1993 400SE owners book states 236.6 236.9
I collected the MB fluid from the dealer and its sheet is 236.6
My questions are:
1 What does MB mean by "can"
2 Presumably newer fluids have advantage over older ones provided they are compatible approved, so why do the newer ones not render the older ones obsolete?
3 Why have MB not supplied at least 236.9, if not 236.12, rather than the236.6?
3 Which one should I use and why?
After PAS and fuel filter I am ready to change my transmission fluid, I have the gasket. filter, loan of a ramp and some of this MB 236.6.
I intend to keep this car for good or as long as practicable. I love it.
