Could anyone shed any light on this please. It's a w211 e320 cdi 2004. I get the battery convenience message come up occasionally which disappears after around 30 seconds. Could this be the cause? The main battery is 3 years old but im not sure on the aux.

Depleted auxiliary batteries can throw up all sorts of codes and errors

I was thinking that, I believe it's the original aux battery. I'm not getting any dash messages other than the convenience occasionally.
Am I best to get Merc or will a eurocarparts one do?
Thanks for replying.

Convenience (consumer) battery messages are fairly common. Since its intermittent and goes away after 30 seconds I'd not be too concerned just yet.
