The other is under the drivers feet. Not easy to see or access!

the QR code that MB stuck to my fuel filler cap implied it lived with the main battery ... I never had the need to look for another battery.

My ML has another motorbike sized battery rear offside buried under the boot floor. You can just about see it if you remove the rear light cover.

That's got a pic of a facelift like mine but my aux battery is definitely in the footwell (I went looking when I changed the main battery).

it does, but it also says it covers vehicles from 2005 to 2013

A 12v 70ah battery isn't the aux . It's the main. Maybe try a common sence question next time . Try putting your reg number in as advised .
