Hi All,

just to let everyone know over the next few months I will commence on the
Benzworx CLK project which will include:

1/ Rust treatment
2/ colour change
3/ Benzworx Bumper front/ rear mods
4/ Interior Benzworx exclusive two tone seats and headliner
5/ Engine ? change or remap ?
This will be just the start more to come :confused:

Clive why not supercharge the 4.3 lump you already have rather than a remap. Or remap it after supercharging.

Next step New MB front wings prepared and paint inside and out
with Epoxy primer this is the only way to prevent any moisture getting
to the metal and will guard against any stone chipping back to bare metal
as the primer is rock hard unlike normal 2K primers

Just a question Clive with regards to the epoxy primer. Can this be used on bumpers too before the final colour coats?

Yes it can just use it in the normal way as 2K primer :D

Can the DIY guy get the epoxy primer in a spray can? And can it be sprayed over other primer...such as the primer on the wing when it is new?

It is a very spray can epoxy and i do use this so can vouch for it,
but as i have spray guns i use the mix as you go stuff.
By the way There Lacquer system VHS is the doggy's do dah's
and will be using this for the project

Why don,t you go the whole hog and do what I did to my C43 and put a 55 lump in it, afterall its just a straight swap. :cool::cool::cool:
