My Dad has a Mercedes C130 AMG (15 years old) which he's been trying to sell for a couple of months.

He's tried the usual routes - Auto Trader, Loot, etc., but has had no success so far - probably because it's such a rare car and would only interest an enthusiast.

Does anyone have any advice on the best place to advertise it to appeal to someone who'd be interested in it?

I agree with Slinky. I found my current C43 through the ads in the MBOA magazine.

The vendor had tied Autotrader, etc but just had lots of time wasters. He put ad in MBOA mag and had three weel qualified leads and sold it in just over a month.

Have you thought of e-bay. Seems to work well for some. Can you give us some more details of the car, service history, mileage, colour, engine size etc. and price. Only other thing to ponder is whether the price was right. Give us an idea and plenty of guys on this forum can give you useful comments.
