What polisher do you use to do the waxing or polishing? Nice finish!

i use a Meguiars DA g220 v2 and also a meguiars power da that attaches to a drill for isolated tough spots.

I use different makes as I find them better to mix and match.

One thing I will always buy is swissvax crystal rock wax. Been using for years on my cars and for me I have tried other waxes but this is just so good. Lovely to work with and the finish gets better and better. Lasts a year too. Two coats a year. I then use gtech detail spray and car shampoo. Also use a few megs and auto glym products for like tyres and bumper trims etc.

But I will say there is no point waxing a car with out the correct base. Always worth da ing the paint to as smooth as poss then wax as the shine is massive.

You can't really see but I spent 3 days cleaning my wife's new car. Had all railway brake fillings all over badly. Had to clay the whole car , mop etc then only one coat of wax due to time as she wanted to drive it. Haha.. This pic is around 4 pm with fog coming over yet it still shines .

This was a little earlier so a better shine but was only around 30 mins after one coat of crystal rock. It takes 2-3 hours for it to really shine and do its magic .

Bilt Hamber Double Speed Wax. Deep sine and last's for months. It is the winner of the Auto Express survey for two or three years now. Easy to use with great results. I have used it for years now and havn't found anything that would persuade me to alter my view :)

I also use DSW when I can be bothered. It is easy to use but currently just using the Autoglym Polay spray on set of blast/clean/seal which I really like.

One point to add is that the paintwork needs to be in good condition, decontaminted/clayed etc AND then you keep on top of it with easy to use products ;)

So wax is for a deep shine whereas polish is not. I'll use a good carnuaba wax on my new car. Thanks
Make sure you prep the paint first by using clay to get rid of any contamination first then polish then wax and finish off with a sealer like Sonax BSD

So

Wash
Clay
Wash
Polish
Wax
Seal
