Big plastic bits

Hi all,

welcome to the world of stupid questions!!! I have a 2001 C320, V6, how do I get the big plastic cover off the top of the engine without breaking it? Is it just a press fit or are there hidden clips/bolts? I had a look for a hayne manual but they don't seem to do one for the V6.

Pull the front piece towards you and up, that will remove that. the rear section lifts up and off. there is just 4 sprung clips holding that.
