Dear All

While lubricating my throttle linkage yesterday, I noticed a spring dangling from a point on the small plate that turns some shaft entering the throttle bocy as the throttle cable moves. The spring is of similar diameter to a pencil, and is about half the length (it looks like it is only the end that has snapped-off).

I haven't been able to find a diagram to help me identify the spring, or to tell me what it does.

Does anyone have any knowledge of this?

Thanks,

Andrew.

Thanks Malcolm - didn't think of actually trying to fix it! Yes, looks like it is to return the throttle.

Andrew.
