hi guys, i have recently purchased a 53 plate c180k 3dr sports coupe auto.

when i start my car from cold there is a lack of power for the first minute
or so but after that it drives perfectly well.

i was wondering if any of you know if there is a built in power restriction
strategy when cold to protect the supercharger.

there are no fault codes in the ecu.

cheers in advance

Without driving it it is difficult to tell.

There is no such device to protect the supercharger.

cheers for replying folks..
i think you missunderstood the question.. i wasn't refering to a device to protect the charger, i was meaning the ecu limiting the power of the engine for a minute or 2 so the charger is warm and lubed before getting asked to blow hard

cheers again
