C320 cdi cigar lighter fuse

Hi trying to replace the fuse for the cigar lighter but can't find the fuse box! All the paperwork with the car says that it is in the fuse box under the bonnet but there is not one there that I can find. Anybody suggest where this might be?

Assuming you have a W203 C Class, here is a diagram for the fuse box under the bonnet.

I think this may be a US site, so the fuse box will be on the drivers side tight up against the bulkhead under a clip on plastic cover.
Fuse #47 is 15A and serves the cigar lighter and glove box.

Thanks for your info. I have located the fuse box and fixed the fault. What was confusing me was the fact that all the paperwork and on the web, the fuse box is shown as an oblong box secured with clips. In fact mine is an odd shaped box secured with star screws!

Maybe on a Friday afternoon that's all MB had left on the shelf . Good fix buddy

Its usually a 2 position fuse also. Ign live or permanent live.
