Hey Guys

Today we had a Merc C63 in PPP so its already running more power then stock from Mercedes.

IPE VS Stock Manifolds

We Did a Dyno Run ( WHP)

1. STOCK
2. HEADERS with NO Map
3. HEADERS AND REMAP

The IPE Manifolds make a BIG Difference on their OWN!!!!

Acid,

That's some decent hike from the headers.

Don't suppose you have any performance modifications for a 2011 C350 CDI do you? It's the 231ps version.

Carl :)

Used to have a C63...
Oh dear.. another one falls into Acid's web:D

This is LeeC63's after an IPE installation. Reckon that will wake the neighbours?

Both of those sound nice at the lower rev levels, not sure I'm so keen on the "buzzsaw" towards the upper end.

Besides my neighbours when I leave at 0430, I also have to think about my ears & sanity on the motorway schleps I have to do.

Its the type of sound, rather than sheer volume that wins for me!

And powerrr…… naturally! :)

I sometimes set off early, and mine is quite loud on cold start, especially as it lives in a garage which is basically a resonator for the sound. However, All I do is just whack it into gear and go. :)

Here's an idea of the noise, though it's now slightly different due to the Weistec tuned ECU. Not quieter but sharper I suppose, and you can certainly hear those turbos spooling. :D

Ohhhhh….. bugger!

That does sound pretty good - and can definitely hear the turbos spooling up!

Mine does the usual little bark on start up… quite happy to share that with the neighbours as I have to listen to their kids all too frequently!

So, I guess it would just be ensuring a drone-free motorway existence! (By which I don't mean free from Unmanned Aerial Vehicles…!)

Surprisingly good on the motorway at normal driving speeds. No drone as such, though definitely noticeable. I've also driven Acid's C63 for a couple of hundred motorway miles, and even that is deceptively quiet under normal conditions.

I briefly considered putting the resonator back on, but like it too much as it is. :D
