I was in San Sabastian N.Spain after a fabby float down through France when outside san sebastians theatre the car burst into flames..i was pulled from the car and ran into theater to get a couple of fire extinguishes...Before the police towed it away and after the 15 min late fire brigade decided to drown the engine compartment i was able to look in and see that the main fire seemed to be located around the cat down pipe right hand back of engine as you look from front..passenger side.
Thinking could be freaky plastic bag attaching itself to exhaust but wondered if any one has had a fire on this model or if the cats are known to brake down causing excessive heat in those areas.
