cla 250e charger flap won't pop open

Hi All,
out of the blue the charger flap won't pop open when you push it to click it out to open it. It's like it's not being unlocked perhaps as part of the central locking.
Any advice or suggestions would be really appreciated.

If you google 'cla 250e charger flap' there are lots of issues reported for MB EVs with this problem - some emergency fixes as well.

Dealer will have to break the charger flap to get in there , and they will have to replace the flap , and motor, with new ones . FAULT no fail safe to open the flap from the boot like older cars had . I recon this will be the first recall .
