Hey there, I am the researcher on the new Clarkson, Hammond and May series for Amazon Prime. We are looking for the exact measurements of a Merc R107 SL280.

Specifically the distance between the front of the car to the part where the gear stick goes up through the car. Any help that you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

If your after exact measurements or datum points of the R107 bodyshell Mercedes themselves is the place or an MB bodyshop should have access.

A phone call should be enough, Jeremy probably has a good MB contact number in his phone

They use them for crash repair purposes and will be very accurate.

note thats the slc coupe which has a longer wheel base but I imagine is stretched from behind the door line.
