CLC 220 CDi remap

Hi All

The wife has just put a deposit on a 59 plate CLC 220 CDi and having driven it, it feels to me like it desperately needs a remap. I have previously used Simon Coe from CCC technology and he did an excellent job on my sprinter and the wifes car at the time which was a Rover 75.

Any reccomendations please? We live in North Shropshire.

Can't help with a recommendation but I'll be very interested in the results when you get it done.

GAD Tuning is a forum member who posts here quite frequently and I've been thinking about trying them out but haven't got round to it.

Silly question perhaps but wouldn't it have been easier to buy a more powerful car if you or your wife require it.

I've had my W209 CLK 220 CDI Sport re-mapped by GAD and although it still lacks the smoothness of a 6 cylinder engine it was a massive improvement over the factory map.

I'd say it is a good halfway house between a standard 220 CDI and a standard 320 CDI, could not recommend it enough.
