My car is in great nick considering its age and has still only done 78,000 miles. What`s the minimum annual service I should have?

Hello and welcome,

Depends a bit… oil and filter and a good inspection isn’t a bad start.

Brake fluid every 2-3 years. You‘re due an ATF change as well.

Brake discs (especially rear) might need changing due to rust build up from lack of use.

Spraying Dinotrol / ACF50 on subframe and brake lines is also good.

@Wighty is the regular maintenance man :)

I take my CLK to be serviced/MOT every year regardless of mileage, usually around 4.5K miles a year.
One hit, job done, less hassle

Welcome from a fellow CLK owner. Great cars. Mine's a 220 CDI, 2007, 53k miles and will be available to a new owner soon. Nowt wrong with mine (except temperamental Parktronic) but I'm expecting to take delivery of a new car in the next few months and l have an SLK l can use. Might let the CLK go early to an enthusiast. Won't be ridiculously cheap as it's a cracking car, but sensible money will secure.

Well l'm looking for around £4k. Its Obsidian black with black leather. Elegance model, CLK220 CDI coupe, full history including recent atf & filter change. Virtually unmarked except for a front bumper scuff which I'll either get fixed or make an allowance for. Although l say this myself, it really is a lovely car and I've had second thoughts about letting it go. However as my order is in for a new car l will need to let this one go. Pm me if you need more info, although I'm going on holiday from tomorrow for a few days. I'm based in Walsall.

I had a 2003 CLK270CDI from about 2006 to 2011, sold it with 115k miles on the clock. Then I was doing about 15K miles a year & it was serviced by MB.
Only problems were front suspension bushes, & a shock absorber, it was a very reliable car.
