Co,s very high

Hi there got a 1992 190e had it for the last 6years. its has just started a slight problem it is running rich put it on the machine at work and the cos are 2.7 changed the lambda but still no joy. The running of the car has not changed ... please does any one have any ideas many thanx brian.... p,s its done 206000 mls

These can be adjusted just like a normal KE system, but instead of using a co machine, use a volt meter in pin 3 of the diagnostic plug and earth, shud read about 6v when warm, adjust with 3mm alen key in center of air filter

Hi there thanx very much star . we done that today with the co machine & it done the trick but will try it with a volt meter many thanx for your help . you cant beat the old mercs cheers brian

No probs, its best to use volt meter as the cat will give you a false reading.

Hi there just parked the car there & the handbrake is coming up very high is it one handbrake cable or are they seperate is it a hard job. many thanx again brian

try adjusting the handbrake thru a wheel bolt holes 1st. cables dont brake too often, or the shoes have worn out. check quadrants have not siezed aswell.
