Recently got this car, collision prevention came up with a message it was inoperable, took back to the dealer (not mercs), spoke to they’re auto electrician, he was gonna see if there was a software update available, he reset it, in the meantime the message came up again for 2 days, then it started working again, today message came back, got home turned the engine on and off twice, message gone it’s working again, anyone else had this, thanks all

Clean the sensors on the front of the car, they get blocked by road salt and other detritus. They can also be blocked by heavy rain/spray

I had a few warnings on my car (2021 GLC) when I first got the car, these stopped when I gave it a decent charge with the CTEK, the car was a very low mileage purchase having completed only 2300 miles on collection as it was a lockdown car.

I also had another warning recently when I had it serviced and they had turned the light switch off from auto and I sat in the car for around 40 mins waiting with radio on and did not notice the lights were also on.

Mercedes cars or quite a few it seems like to have a healthy charge.
