Comand issue

I have a 2004 Mercedes 320 CLK and the Comand stereo/Sat nav has will not turn on at all... I have checked the fuse under the bonnet which is fine.. but i did change it just in case, any other help or information anyone can give?

This may or may not help, but these are the fuses for Comand on a W211 E class. Your CLK may or may not nbe the same but worth a look.


Check Fuse 28 in the fuse box at the end of the drivers side dashboard. You need to open the door to see the panel that unclips to reveal the fuses. Depending on which Comand unit you have fitted the fuse could be either a 5 or 15amp.
Should be the 4th fuse down in the row closest to the engine.

There may also be another fuse for Comand in the boot.
Its Fuse 3, a 7.5 amp. Its the 3rd one in from the right, the only 7.5amp fuse in the compartment.

I have now checked EVERY fuse in all 3 fuse boxes... and still the same problem?

There is a fuse on the back of the comand unit in a model year 2004 CLK comand.

Take the comand out and check that. You can also check there is 12V supply coming to the comand at the same time.
