Hi All
This is my first post here ,also my first Merc ,I am looking ay buying An A160 avantgarde I have looked at several and they all have a slight creamy residue in the oil fille pipe the dealers tell me this is normal due to the pipe being in a u tube shape therfore condensation builds up and causes this slight residue. Is this correct or are they pulling the wool over my eyes,I hope not as I really liked one car in particular.

aye some cars are more prone to this than others , when i was younger my 205gti was a nightmare for this due to oil filler being located away from engine with silly amounts of kinks in hoses , often gets mistaken for headgasket issues , hence if your not sure get an experienced mechanic to look for you.
