Not sure if the price of their fuel has been mentioned before. Ironically Costco HO is in Watford but they only just opened a fuel station there a couple of weeks ago. So this morning we went to fill up and it does seem to be cheaper, the Diesel was 138.9 a litre which compares well to Tesco which I think right now is 149.7 although I will admit to never really looking at the prices when we fill up :p

Used it for a long time as luckily at least 3 stores along my regular routes.

Apparently, it is up there with the best for fuel quality. Not sure if true but someone mentioned they dose on site?

This is a minor thing - but they always keep their forecourts clean and wash down daily. This will pssibly make sense to those of us that "detail".

Super at Costco is listed as 97 so I’d say “no“ I have used it in the 911 but I’ve not been practicing 0-60 in it to compare…;)

my k1300 didn't do anything different from 95 using 97 super unleaded (from Esso, BP or Shell) - then a few mates pointed out it says run 98 or higher in the owners manual - 99 came out and the thing was incredibly different.

It doesn't sound possible but it literally sounded different the second it started up after filling with a full tank of 99. And I could feel the difference in performance and NVH as I rode just 10m across the forecourt. Not being silly I'd say it had 20% more midrange grunt. If It was a blind fold test you'd swear you were riding someone else's better bike

Costco watford used to have an adsa petrol station within 1/4 mile of the place - shame they only do 97 rot, its 15p a liter cheaper

Yes, that’s impression I got filling up with Esso 99, pulled off the forecourt onto an A road accelerated to 50mph and wasn’t touching the throttle the engine felt as it was on steroids. Haven’t had the BMW out since but I sense the next few hundred miles of use could be interesting

I spoke to delivery driver whilst filling up at Liverpool no dosing on ste but he said same as other premium fuels.
Still some won't believe it I suppose.
There are some lab test results out there.
Car runs fine and cleaner on it but too old to make a catergoric claim.

All Costco diesel is Premium. With petrol, you have a choice of normal 95RON (E10) or premium 97RON. The premium diesel is usually cheaper than most places' normal diesel

Obviously varies from brand to brand:

Petrol Premium Unleaded (95 octane)
Standard petrol sold all over Europe, suitable for almost all petrol engines.

Petrol Super Unleaded (97/98 octane)
Highest octane petrol commonly available in the UK. Unless you have a high performance car, most engines are not able to take advantage of the higher octane rating.

LostKiwi, you've not kept abreast of the changes ... ESSO and Shell normal super unleaded is now 99 and it unlocks changes in the right engine management systems that didn't happen with 97

That was a website cut and paste from the linked page.
I'm fully aware 99 is available though I'll never use shell as every car I've used it in has run worse than Tesco Momentum (also 99 and cheaper).

I tried Costco diesel on the CLS. Noisier and exhaust pipes are more sooty compared to BP Ultimate Diesel and Shell Vpower diesel.
I tried Texaco's super diesel and its noisier than BP and Vpower, more sooty exhaust tips but, its sharpest on this stuff.

I just tend to stick to Vpower diesel, runs smoothly enough on this. On the petrol cars, its mainly Vpower (or Tesco or Esso's) 99ron stuff every so often.
