i have recently bought a 1993 300ce and prior to myself getting the car some bugger had forced the glovebox open and damaged the dash above as this is my first merc looking for ideas for removing the dash/instrument cluster
Also any help on tracing a new dash or dash repair would be a great help

Depending on the damage, the chips away type folk can do dash repairs and can allegedly get good results. It may be worth looking into before you start replacing bits.
Failing that google Mercman and Dronsfields as main Merc breakers. They will no doubt be able to supply whatever you need.

A very quick & careful bit of localised heating with a hot-air gun can bring many dents out of foam dashboards & trim
