I've obviously put something on my seat while it's been sat in the garage. It's been there for a while now, I thought/hoped it would sort itself out over time but it's not. It's the base of my Smart Roadster's seat.
Any suggestions on lessening the 'dent' would be appreciated. Heat? Steam?

Heat - hairdryer at distance - or just the sun at the moment - and massage the area
the car's been in use over the last few days & so has been really cosy to get back into after 12 hours in the sun .... no change so far. I'll plaster it in Glyptone

Gliptone might make it worse, it needs shrinking. You should try localised heat or steam and massage to shrink it.
Personally I would use leather filler and paint the area or the whole panel.

Could a small rubber sucker be used to pull it , a bit like dent pulling on metal ?

I doubt that a sucker will be able to hold suction on the leather ..

I am more concerned about the white stains on the seat above the keys in the pic.

you've got me there ..... but it can't be what you're thinking ... there's not enough room in a Smart Roadster for anything untoward ;)

Keys in the back pocket, doing "untoward" perhaps not only led to the dent but the said stain.....

it won't be keys, I never keep them in my back pocket. The dent will have been due perhaps to a roof bar or similar left on the seat for extended periods. I'll have to have a proper look at the 'stain' .... though I think it's the surface that's been scratched/scuffed. ;)

Putting an ice cube in an area of carpet flattened by the weight of furniture and letting it melt, springs it back into life... could this work perhaps? The steam solution above sounds good too... maybe even some conditioner and a nice seat massage....

as others have said heat and massage it out, should lessen it

My La-z-boy Oasis chair had a wheelbarrow stored on it for ~9 months (incompetent movers) - with heat and massaging as well as packing it out from underneath for awhile it all came back good - it had a large dent as well as the tyre tread pattern impressed into the leather :(
