Hi all

I have 19inch C63 Wheels and they are in need of a refurb. I've had a quote for a diamond cut of £120/wheel (plus Vat) and am aware of the obvious advantages in longevity of powder coating. Has anyone got any tips/advice they can offer on which is better or any experiences of either? I'm in SW London/Surrey border as well if anyone can recommend somewhere either way.

Thanks in advance.

Personally I went with powder coating on my R129 based on practicality, once broken the lacquer on a diamond cut wheel can deteriorate very quickly. But that was just my personal preference, sorry nowhere near your location so I can't recommend anyone. :)

Diamond cut is just too fragile and fraught with problems, I'd never have them again- powder coating would be my choice

Powder coat every time, there are so many Silvers out there now any good company will be able to make them very shiny. use "Hi-Power" silver

i powder coated my diamond cut 19"s as they were looking a bit tired once the lacquer was damaged.

Should be looking good for longer than diamond cut.

They were done by first aid wheels

Just had a set 'exchange re-furbed' by 'First-Aid-Wheels' (just off the Hendon Way) Looks like they can do anything and everything!! Highly recommended!
