Those old Bentleys do absolutely nothing for me whatsoever. I've worked on a few too and I just dont see the love for them, but each to their own.

I very much like your CL600. Lovely.

I seem to recall that do not like CL215 especially working on them !

We've decided that after we sell the SLK and the 2 CLs, we're either going to get an S Class Coupe or a Continental R. Of course, we need to drive each car first, but we're in no hurry. You never know, a wildcard choice may come along and blow these plans out of the water. The 3 cars and our RV will be up for sale around Easter and we'll see what happens.

For me, that S Class coupe knocks spots off the Bentley and pretty much anything else in its sphere for the money.

Made the return trip to Wiltshire yesterday to take my mother-in-law home after she had spent the weekend with us.
Frightened her a bit when I pressed the loud pedal a bit hard when joining the M54 and then the A417, after a rest stop for her. This triggered the exhaust flaps to open up giving a very loud exhaust note and near full acceleration.
Boy the mid range is amazing on these S63s.
Had my wife for company on the return journey (she wasn't so frightened by it, no gripping of the seat base unlike her mother)
Same journey as on Friday, with less congestion, but only returned 26.5mpg this time around, must have been a head wind.

Well, it's funny that you say that.

I was thinking of buying the Bentley before prices rise too much and buying the S63 when I sell my business in a couple of years and the prices have lowered.

DO NOT tell my other half I said that.
