Hi,
Just had my car (E220 2012) serviced for the first time and as part of the service they gave it a full wash. Now I have noticed that the chrome around the LED running lights has misty/blurred/cloudy (hard to describe but is not the chrome look). Rubbing it with a damp cloth seems to make it look ok again, then when it dries it returns to the cloudy look.
The last time it was washed was in February (now April) and there was no signs of this then. I know we have had this awful cold weather in the UK (hence why no weekly wash for months) and there has been salt on the roads, but surely this cannot cause this?
The chrome on the Exhaust and bonnet is perfect and its only around the LED lights.
Any ideas what can cause it and how to bring it back to the original look.
Thanks,
Gary
