E280 CDI Remapping By GAD

Today Mr King from the MBO forum has given us the pleasure of working on his E280 CDI.

With + 45 BHP and 90 NM of torque for an Economy map and EGR Disable.

Hi GAD,

Are those figures correct? Looked at your website which says for E280CDI economy map it is BHP +7, NM +12 (Performance is + 14 BHP, + 25 NM)
Only reason I ask is that you guys are doing my CLS economy map soon, so wanted to ask if I should go by the website figures, or you are expecting to get more than that on the economy map?

I would be interested to see the MPG gains from the remap after a couple of weeks driving and it settling down I can regularly see 36 after mine being done on the computer now and would like to see how they compare.

Surely that's not right......sounds more like the gains you get with a NA petrol chip tune.

Yeah seems may be an error on the site with those figures. But the figures mentioned above are also higher than those quoted on the cls on the site. So just wanted to clarify.

Its a matt finish, "plastidip" rubber paint.

Sorry guys YES looks like an error here...


Remapping Gains for the 280 CDI will be 50 BHP and 110 NM of torque Performance wise.


And 35 BHP 80 NM of torque economy wise. We would expect 3 - 7 MPG improvement.
