My E320 estate (2003) has developed a rattle when travelling over uneven ground which seems to be coming from the passenger side.
The car is fine on even roads and motorways.
A recent MOT required the track rod end replaced on the driver's side.
Any ideas?

Ball joints and anti roll bar joints are the most common causes of nosies from the front.

I'd go for anti roll bar bushes first, they are cheaper at about £20 plus about 1hr max to fit.

Thanks guys - car is due in for a service soon. Have been recommended a good independant garage locally, so will ask them to check these items out.

Check out the exhaust mountings/supports too. I had a rattle and this was the cause.
