Same as Matty above, Hastings Direct who do happen to be the cheapest for me at the moment. I will look to move next renewal though as I'm not happy at the amount of excess I'm being asked to pay (£650 total)

wow that's a bit Rodger, mine only come to £350 excess and that with 25k business mileage and 5k personal

I guess they are weighing risk v premium Matt.
I pay £234 pa Fully protected NCB with the missus covered. Not that she will drive it. " It scares me" she said first trip.

Just on the subject of insurance, I had some cars with Admiral and Direct line.

Direct Line are ½ the admiral price for me and my cars, as I am picking up the old SL in the morning I asked Admiral for a price. The Man on the phone said that they could not give a price until the main policy comes up for renewal, he said go online and check. So I go online and got to a box "Do you have any children under 16" I entered no and that was rejected, I tried 0, that was no good either, as I could not get past this box I jut entered 50 and it took it , I then submitted it.

I rang Direct Line, lovely lady does it all for £200 Job done.

I get nearly 50mpg if I drive sensibly in my Mazda. You wouldn't think it was a 2.3 turbo with 300hp and a chopped exhaust
