As to the speedo in MPH, you are referring to the digital display in the lower part of the instrument cluster, not the actual main dial, right?

Not sure about 2010 model, but on earlier cars, Mercedes took upon themselves to keep us on our toes, by making the secondary speed display fixed in km/h, rather than have a user option to switch to the outside temp, as in all other countries.

It is often referred to as "UK mode", which many, myself included, elected to do away with. I went to Comand Online Ltd in Lightwater, and had it done on STAR - brilliant service, and highly recommended.

That is pretty much bang on. Hmm, so there's no simple "Off" switch!! I'll give the Lightwater place a Googling. Light water, Surrey, I presume??
