Front dashboard parking display

Thanks for letting me become a member of this Forum
We are new Mercedes Benz owners
we have just bought a CLC 220d 59 MY
can you help me to sort out the dashboard display for the front parking sensors
they are all working but the display on the left hand side is barely visible the (thin v shaped one pointing to the left like a v but on its side)
when it senses something the orange and red bars are visible and bright
its the thin perimeter display that is barely visible
sorry i can't describe it any better

Hello and welcome, you will have no choice other than to replace as nothing you can do with these displays.

Is that really an issue?
Is the perimeter lighting an ambient lighting feature that's on all the time?
Not heard of it, mine just lights the orange and red bars unless I've just not noticed.

I have been re thinking, and once you are driving they are not used, its only the red and the bleep when you must stop, as long as the amber bars are visible, thats all that matters.

If both sides are not the same, then ask them to change it.
