fuel rail pressure sensors ? ( derv )

bar the fitment and plug type what is the actual difference between them , anyone know ?

You mean in terms of what pressure they are measuring, or set to measure?, or am I missing your question (probably!)

yes , surely they all do the same thing , common rail derv engines are all similar pressure fuel wise ?

Yes the Bosch ones are multi-fitment Merc BMW Renault Vauxhall depending on the engine type etc

They have to be there's only so many fuel systems they can come up with.

EG: Bosch 0281002534

This fits typically Honda Fiat Vauxhall Alfa Romeo Renault etc

but does that mean I can use a different one on my fathers Kia ( its a bosch fitment ) aslong as it fits both thread and multi plug wise ??

well I fitted a sensor off a crdi honda this aft and the car runs just fine on it , still doesn't explain why the Honda one is half the price of the Kia part

Manufacturers don't set the retail prices.

EG:
Audi Radiator fan pack £535
Ford radiator fan pack £186

Same manufacturer part number
Different Car manufacturer part number
Different multi plug fitments.

The obvious tweak would be cut the oem multi-plug off and solder onto the cheaper alternative
