I have a serious issue as when I go into drive the car will moves a few feet but then the gearbox disengages, and I can’t move forward.
the hybrid motor and the engine are running

I am due to get a new vacuum pump installed late next week. But I didn’t think they where linked

I was trying to get the car moving to allow me to drop it to the mechanic but it looks like I will need a tow truck

The dash is lighting like a Christmas tree with maff sensor faults and now the gear box

It’s a nightmare

You are going to need fault codes read by MB or an independent MB specialist . Do you still have Mobilio recovery ?

THe ODB is showing a load of faults .
I am hoping th vacuum pump is involved in a load of areas including the the transfer tot he gear box.

Unless you have good mechanical experience, do not even think about checking the ATF level..to say that it's complicated is an understatement, compared to checking the engine oil.

For the sake of £200 at an Indie , I’d change ASAP.
That all the way.
My W220 has a sealed from service schedule box, I get it done at my indy every 35k.

If you want peace of mind either ask MB to do it and pay the extra or get an indy ti take care of it.

200 mioba??? That's unbelievable. A complete change, including the TC and oil cooler will take 12 ltrs add in the filter and Gasket and your looking at 150. Have you seen him actually doing it? There's some very unscrupulous characters out there.
