Guys, I got my 2015 GLA45 fore more than a year and been serviced once back in August last year, I think my fuel consumption been high since day one, I used to get 18mpg. Now I get 13mpg, always in C mode and my daily route is 12miles a day and 1/4 is uphill traffic no more than 10mins. What you guys think? What could be wrong?
Try not using cruise control, using it makes the car continuously accelerate where it may not be needed! Seems to work for me on my E class!Hi All
One of the reasons I chose to purchase a GLA45 AMG is that on the review sites, and places like Autotrader, the fuel economy listed for the car is roughly:
Urban mpg: 34 mpg
Extra Urban: 50.4 mpg
Average mpg: 42.8 mpg
I've had my 2015 GLA45 for several months now and I'm not getting anywhere near that economy. I'm averaging around 29MPG according to the trip computer. Even if I undertake a motorway journey, with cruise control set at around 68mph, I'm still only getting 34mpg.
Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone manage to get the claimed fuel economy? I can't decide if there's a fault with the car or the claimed economy is false.
Any experiences would be much appreciated!
Justin.
